Mumford and Sons bassist undergoes emergency brain surgery.

Bassist hospitalized: Mumford and Sons bassist undergoes emergency brain surgery.

Hearts and prayers for the English folk rock band's Bass Guitarist. He is hospitalized for a blood clot on his brain. He is in the hospital today recuperating from emergency surgery that removed the blood clot. Due to the bassist’s condition, the folk rockers, Mumford and Son, have canceled three shows, according to UPI.com on June 11, 2013.

Ted Dwyane had been complaining about not feeling well for the last several days. A trip to the emergency room on Monday revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain. He was taken right in for emergency surgery.
The band posted a statement on their Mumford and Son's website Monday reporting that Dwane is receiving “excellent care” and even though they need to cancel three days worth of shows in Texas and New Orleans on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, they do not plan to cancel any more shows after Thursday. They also said Dwayne is expected to “recover quickly” from this surgery.
The band will reschedule the canceled shows in Dallas, Woodland
