The Rising Rain is now rising the rain after 4 years of coming together with a debut E.P. titled "Call me what you like"

The Rising Rain who hail from Enugu, the South East of Nigeria,  are described as playing an atmospheric style of alternative rock, complimented by soaring dual harmonies and catchy vocal melodies with and energetic, uncluttered and youthful sound.

Released in the early hours of April 15th, the EP features five tracks. The record is led by the title track, "Call me what you like"- a beautiful, catchy and pop-like piece of music packed with all the ingredients for a great single- strong melody, an infectious, hooky chorus, LinkinPark-like and upbeat rhythmic sounds.
The other songs in the E.P. which include Save me (a christian song), On and On"-a ballad and a live cover performance of clocks by Coldplay which the band always say is one of the major influences in the E.P. It was produced and written by band except for "call me what you like" that was co-produced by UD West.
