BAYELSA BOOK AND CRAFT FAIR 2013

The second edition of Bayelsa Book & Craft Fair 2013 returns on 18-19th, April, followed  the next day by the glamorous Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Yenagoa. The Fair director, Onyeka Nwelue said authors in this years exhibition include, Shobhaa De from India, a former model and very controversial columnist; Brian Bwesigye from Uganda and Javier Lozano from Mexico.Portuguese actor, Jose Fildago will be in a conversation with former Big Brother Africa housemate and currently Rhythm FM presenter, Melvina Longpet. Uti Nwachukwu, model, actor and TV presenter will moderate sessions and also talk about the invasion of the privacy of the lives of celebrities. My dear Friend and Brother, Steve Chukwumah will also be on panel "how we cured HIV" with former house of assembly member Dr. Okediran and Malawian activist....Well, all these is definitely not the reason am writing this today. So, if its not, then what is?

The same event will be gracing some of the finest Alternative Contemporary Artist from Nigeria, "aaaaaaaaahhhh"  Yeah you heard that right. Hey there! save some breath cos you'll need to scream even louder when you get to know that the likes of Bez, GT Guitarman, Nneka, etc will be on stage rockin' like a rocksters. Like i said before and will always say, Alternative contemporary music is taking its share and a stand in the Music Industry and its time we give 'em all the support we can possibly give.
